About us

Svend Petersen, our Director, launched Excelan in 1998 because he saw a way to do IT support differently. Working with large IT providers, he saw that the client gets the most value from the relationship with their engineer. It's the engineer that earns their trust, and gets to know their business inside-out.

The solution was simple: build a company of engineers and pour all our energy into delivering IT support. We left out the over-engineered project scopes. We left out the middle-men and gatekeepers too. When you want to talk to your engineer, you can call them straight away. When you want to talk to Svend, you know how to reach him.

With engineers at the helm, you know that our goal will always be to fix your problem or build something better. We'll choose the best solution and scale our services to fit - whether that's a simple hardware upgrade or a full disaster recovery plan.

Over the last 15 years, Excelan has grown steadily as our clients share the word about the direct, responsive and honest service they've experienced.
